The studio informally started in August 2020, as a result of the 2nd Coronavirus lockdown.
The studio informally started in August 2020, as a result of the 2nd Coronavirus lockdown. Boredom and an excess of time led to experimentation with concrete, in the small garage of a house in Lahore, which eventually led to the formal launch of the studio in March 2021.
About Studio Graphite
Studio Graphite is an architect-led, Interdisciplinary design studio, focusing on hand-cast, bespoke and artisanal products, particularly on the exploration of materials, conventionally only thought of as raw building mediums.
What we intend to do
The goal is to encourage unconventional and interdisciplinary design practices through collaborative mediums. In pursuit of these goals and dreams, Studio Graphite is grateful for the overwhelming appreciation and support along the way.
How we create magic
We create products out of raw materials by creating our own mixes, developing new colors from pigments, and fabricate multiple techniques to create new finishes.
